Hi, I'm Courtney

Welcome to Maki Lane, where we hold the space for Modern Homemaking and Lifestyle. I’m Courtney Larvadain. In college, most people called me by my maiden name, Maki and a select few used my middle name, Lane. It stuck. You can find me all over the internet @ MakiLane. I post regularly on YouTube, so be sure to subscribe for the live and in living color version of the blog. 

I am a proud FAMU alum, Founder, mother and wife. I have two littles, Trip and Harper (HG), and along with my husband, we live outside of Detroit, Michigan. I’ve traveled the world, but we’re a family of native Michiganders here. I am thrilled you’re here, happy to have you and I look forward to creating a space you come to know and love.
